Adf.ly is a site that you are going to want to incorporate into your list of sites.
If you didn't know, you basically shrink one of your links (website, blog, youtube, ref links, photos, etc). You can shrink almost any link if it is yours or if you have permission. Sign up here if you'd like.

The way it works is that adf.ly will put ads on that site.
Interstitial- highest pay, are 5 second ad delays before the viewer enters your site
Top banner- medium pay, banner ads are displayed on top of the site
Side banner- medium pay, banner ads are displayed on the site of your site
Everytime someone views your site, you get PAID!
NOW FOR THE STRATEGIES
Strategy 1) I've started using this strategy recently and I love it. WHENEVER you use banners to promote your sites, make the target url a shrinked link. Personally, it is better to create your own banners because people have not seen it before since it is unique, therefore click rates will increase. Make sure your banner has something eye-popping. I NEVER put the name of the site on the banner itself because maybe that viewer already knows about the site. I put texts on banners like ("Unique Money Methods Here!", "High Paying PTC, legit for years", "Earn $5 just to sign up!") Those type of headings are ambiguous; the viewer doesn't know what is on there and most likely they will be more curious. If you have normal banners from sites that people see EVERYWHERE, there will be less attention. Remember...more clicks more money for you!
Strategy 2) Create a blog for ANY TOPIC of interest. Shrink the link to that blog. If you have any other links in that blog you can shrink them too for more earnings. Then post about your blog on forums where you think people will be interested in looking at your content.
Strategy 3) Go make a photobucket, tinyurl, or whatever photo sharing site of your choice.
Shrink those photo links to share those photos with people on forums, or even sharing them with friends.
Strategy 4) Create your own custom photoshop paintbrushes, game mods, game hacks, and scripts and share them with the world! Share those things on forums to people who would actually get them. Make sure they know that the download is FREE and you shrink the download link. Now you can add strategy 3 and this one by having PICTURES of the certain mods for the viewers to click.
Strategy 5) Sell something on craigslist! Use strategy 3 to post photos of your product that you are selling. Usually customers NEED to see photos, so they will definitely click the links you provide them. If the thing you are selling gets lots of demand, then most likely the clicks will be outrageous!
Strategy 6) Refer new members to adf.ly. You get 20% of whatever they earn for LIFE! You don't even have to do much work with getting your links clicked if you have others to do it for you!
